Comic-Con Masquerade

Sun Mar 21, 2010, 3:47 PM
Well, We are not going to be in the Comic-Con Masquerade. We can't seem to get the whole group together to practice. I told the group to start with that if they did not practice I was not going to be in it. I refuse to go on stage with a bunch of kids that have no idea what they are doing. I WILL NOT LOOK STUPID!!

Now I wont have to make as many costumes. I will post pictures of the ones that I have made, so you can see them.

Comic-Con 2010

Wed Jan 20, 2010, 11:31 PM
:w00t: We have been tentatively excepted into the masquerade.

We have been waiting on pins and needles for the reply. I did not think the masquerade was really that big of a deal, but I was wrong. They can still deny us if our costumes are not up to their standards. Well, at least we have a six months before I need all those costumes ready for their judging.

We have 13 people in out masquerade group and some of them are on dev-art. Me of course, :iconcommunicon: , :iconfierstar1: , :iconhostilitywolf: , :iconkit-kat-09: , :iconvexen-yazoo: , :iconvinceandcloud4ever: , :iconyuffielovesmateria: , :iconakugirl:

Unfortunately you will not be able to see the costumes until after Comic-Con, which is in July. This is a rule per the Comic-Con masquerade.

I will post updates in July with weather or not we are in. Then after comic-con I will post cosplays of us.

2010

Fri Jan 1, 2010, 1:05 PM
Wow :wow:

I am starting a New Year and really don't know what happened to the last one.

Well the only things I know for sure that I am doing this year are:

1. Continue homeschooling my youngest. :lightbulb:
2. Getting my oldest to get better grades, so she can go to Comic-Con. :fingerscrossed:
3. Making costumes (between 15 to 20, probably more if I count. :eyepopping: I don't want to count them) for many people that are going to Comic-Con this year.
4. Going to Comic-Con and maybe be in the Masquerade. :jawdrop:
5. Watching my niece through the summer. (Yaaaa! Summer) :sun:

Things that I would like to do:

1. Make Steampunk jewelry.
2. Up date my jewelry displays. :mwahaha:
3. Teach my daughters to sew. Tried this before. What a mess.
4. Learn to make some different styles of jewelry.
5. Take a fun class at the collage.

I can't think of anything else, but it is the first day of the New Year.

What do you think I should try to do this year?

I have been cleaning and polishing my jewelry. I have over 200 pieces currently made. Also have made a few commission pieces and repaired a necklace.

I will post more pictures as I take them for my web site. Check it out at:
