Little Copper Basket Inside by CrafterGod Little Copper Basket Inside by CrafterGod
This is a little copper basket that I made after looking at the pictures of TheAngstyArtist.blogspot.com site. I followed her tutorial for a trinket box. I have created one and will be post a picture of it soon.

This basket is created using copper wire. I'm not sure of the gauge wire, but I think the thicker wire is 16 gauge and the smaller is 30 gauge. Again I'm not sure.

Posting a picture of the front of the basket, so that you can see the tendrils that are woven into the inside and outside of the basket. [link]

For the size this little basket is pretty heavy.

It looks like an old basket (like artifact) that has been left out and was attacked by a tree...like with the roots, or possibly vines of some sort, growing over it.
...and I mean this in the most awesome way possible! It looks fantastic! >.> I struggle with words lol.

Thank you. The only person in our family who got Comic-Con tickets is my oldest daughter. Looks like I wont be making it this year.

Have you been to any more Cons?

Man, I heard about the ComicCon tickets. Crazy stuff. ...not that I've had time to go to anything in ages :depressed: though I'm going to try to swing by WonderCon in San Francisco in April *crosses fingers*

I really like the tendrils. It looks like some roots have started growing in and around the basket.

This took me about 8 hours of total work. Created the basket and then the tendrils that are both inside and outside of the basket.

You could... It just takes the time to figure it out and trial and error.

I want to make something bigger. Dreaming of a pitch or small wine bottle. lol Maybe it will stay a dream for a while. :)
